It’s rare to possess the same vehicle for 20 or more years, but imagine a European sports car that has been with its original owner for 57 years! This `62 Volvo P1800 was still a relatively new model when first imported from Sweden to the United States. My client fell in love with the car and used it as his everyday driver for many years, driving in all kinds of weather. He eventually amassed over 200,000 miles on the odometer before retiring it. Several years ago, my client commissioned a comprehensive ground-up, nuts-and-bolts professional restoration to return the car to its original glory. It was my pleasure to appraise it for him!
