Recently, I appraised this 1969 Pontiac GTO “The Judge” two-door hardtop for my client. Painted in Carousel Red (also known as Hugger Orange when used on `69 Chevrolet Camaros), it was equipped with the 400 cubic inch 366 horsepower Ram Air III V8 engine, a Muncie M20 wide ratio four-speed manual transmission, and a Safe-T-Track limited slip differential. It also had a number of factory-installed options, including air conditioning, AM-FM stereo radio, power steering, power front disc and rear drum brakes, Rally gauges with a hood-mounted tachometer, floor console, and full tinted glass. As an older largely cosmetic restoration, the vehicle was still a very desirable “muscle car.”
