My out-of-state client recently engaged me to perform a pre-purchase appraisal of this 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible. An older restoration, the vehicle was equipped with a modified 400 cubic inch V8 engine, a Turbohydramatic 400 three-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit, a Safe-T-Track limited slip differential, and 14-inch Pontiac Rally II five-spoke steel wheels. It also had custom pearlescent white exterior paint and a mildly customized white vinyl interior. Based on my report, the client decided to buy the vehicle.
