My client recently hired me to appraise her father’s 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray convertible, which he purchased new. Approximately seven years ago, the vehicle was treated to full exterior restoration, a rebuild of the original 327 cubic inch 300 horsepower V8 engine, and other mechanical improvements and upgrades. At some previous point, much of the interior was restored as well. The vehicle was also equipped with its original Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission and its original Positraction rear differential with 3.36:1 gears.
